END OF YEAR REWARD TRIP TO
BLACKPOOL PLEASURE BEACH!
On Friday 13th July, we took 357 of our students
to Blackpool Pleasure Beach for their end of year
rewards trip for 97% (and above) attendance and
good behaviour. Included in that number, an
amazing 107 students managed to achieve 100%
for the whole academic year. What a fantastic
achievement!
Despite the rainy start in the morning in
Warrington, the sun decided to make an
appearance in sunny Blackpool! Our adrenaline
junkies amongst the students bared
white-knuckles on rides such as The Big One,
Icon, Infusion, Revolution, Ice Blast, The Big
Dipper etc, whilst others decided to cool down
and take the splash on Valhalla and SpongeBob
Splash Bash where our students made it their aim
to soak staff with their water cannons! Some of
our students were feeling lucky and decided to
hedge their bets and play the basketball hoop
game to win some HUGE prizes! We had a
couple of extra passengers on the coach on the
way home such as humungous pugs and
unicorns!
A big thank you to all of our students who
displayed great professionalism and excellent
behaviour for the full duration of the trip. They
were all a credit to the Academy. It was a
fun-filled and action packed day had by all (even
the staff!). Please endeavour to aim for high
attendance throughout the academic year from
September to ensure yourself a place on next
year’s attendance rewards trip!
