the songs we knew. Made us feel very proud to
be Texans.

Event organizers took the stage and presented a
large check to San Marcos Area CASA
Foundation. We were all excited to see that
$8,543 had been raised for such a worthwhile
charity.

Historical reenactment of
the signing of the Texas
Declaration of
Independence
This time we stayed at the main stage where the
reenactment took place -- they wanted everyone
to see this one so it was at the most central
location on the ranch. Very educational, looked
back at all the battles that were fought and lives
lost so that Texas could claim independence
from Mexico. This segment ended with the
crowd singing “Texas Our Texas” together,
which was a great finale for the day.
4:00 Event ends Guests leave the property Was very satisfied with the event. Felt that we
had had some great food, heard some good
music, and had been re-educated about our
Texas history and the hard road our state had to
take in order to gain its independence. Was very
excited that so much money was collected for
CASA and made us feel like we were part of
something very worthy while still having fun.
Enjoyed seeing Rosewater Ranch. Was very
impressed with its venues and its vendors that
are available for parties. Will definitely consider
holding an event at this Ranch. This was a great
day with the family!
