Primary/Preferred Drug List<br />

Certain prescription drugs are preferred, because they<br />

help control rising prescription drug costs and are<br />

high-quality, efective drugs� This list, sometimes called<br />

a formulary, includes a wide selection of generic and<br />

brand-name drugs� The Primary/Preferred Drug List<br />

is reviewed and upd<strong>at</strong>ed regularly by an independent<br />

pharmacy and therapeutics committee to ensure<br />

th<strong>at</strong> it includes a wide range of efective generic and<br />

brand-name prescription drugs� The list is continually<br />

revised to ensure th<strong>at</strong> the most up-to-d<strong>at</strong>e inform<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

Drug c<strong>at</strong>egories<br />

The <strong>Plan</strong> provides coverage for the following types<br />

Because efective and less costly generic or preferred<br />

brand-name drugs are available, you’ll pay more<br />

for these drugs� However, they are covered under<br />
