Robert J. Grieves, 74
Olin F. Heath Jr., 87
PEABODY — Robert
J. Grieves, age
74, of Peabody,
died on Tuesday,
Aug. 7, 2018 at Salem
Hospital after a
lengthy illness. He
was the husband
of Laurie A. (Foley)
Grieves, with whom
he shared four years
of marriage, and the
late Marie “Carol”
(Melanson) Grieves.
Robert was the son of the late
James and Catherine Grieves,
he was a graduate of St. Mary’s
High School and had earned a
master’s degree from Northeastern
University. He had lived in
Peabody for the majority of his
life.
Robert had worked as an engineer
at the GE Riverworks Plant
for 41 years until his retirement
in 2003.
Bob had a dry sense of humor
and was an avid reader
and historian. He was an advisor
and consultant to anyone who
needed his assistance. He had
always dreamed
of going to Machu
Picchu. Bob adored
animals.
In addition to his
wife he is survived by
two cousins, Donald
Grieves of Beverly
and Philip Grieves of
Salem. He was the
father of the late Lori
Ann Little, who died
on May 30, 2018.
Service information: Visitation
for Bob will be held on Friday
from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the
SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426
Broadway (Route 129), Lynn.
Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn
Memorial Park. Relatives and
friends are respectfully invited

PEABODY — Olin Frank Heath Jr., 87,
passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 8,
2018, at his home in Peabody. He was
the beloved husband of Wilhelmina
(Gilchrist) Ogasian-Heath, with whom
he had shared 32 years of marriage.
Olin was born in Lynn in 1930 to
his parents, Olin Sr. and Doris (Snell)
Heath. He was a member of Lynn English
High School’s Class of 1948
and later served in the U.S. Navy. Olin
devoted himself to his country as an
accountant, serving during the Korean
War. Upon being discharged from the military,
he studied accounting at Bryant and Stratton,
where he graduated in 1957. He went on to
work as an accountant at Massachusetts General
Hospital, from which he eventually retired.
Though math was his fi rst passion, he was known
to be a man of knowledge and wisdom. He was an
accomplished pianist, a connoisseur of trains, and a
history buff, and his library refl ected these hobbies.
His greatest joy, however, was his family. He was a
kind, gentle man who lived for his grandchildren.
Olin found great happiness in both sharing his own
passions with them and learning about his grandchildren’s
passions.
Olin was a loving husband, father,
grandfather, and friend, who always had
a word of encouragement and humor to
offer any situation. In conversation, he
was a listener and took interest in the
lives of everyone he met. His genuine
care and support touched all he came
in contact with.
Olin is survived by his wife, Wilhelmina
(Gilchrist) Ogasian-Heath; his children,
Keira Caitlin Palm and Wayne Heath; his
stepdaughter, Johanna (Ogasian) and
her husband Robert Morse; his stepson,
John and his wife Diane (O’Grady) Ogasian; and
three grandchildren, Samuel and Sarah Morse
and Jennifer Ogasian. He was predeceased by
his parents, Olin Sr. and Doris (Snell) Heath.
Service information: His funeral service will
be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the CONWAY,
CAHILL-BRODEUR Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St.,
Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly
invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on
Friday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Cedar Grove
Cemetery, Peabody. In in lieu of flowers, donations
can be made in his name to a charity of
