Summative – marking made at the end of a series of lessons to assess learning using the above feedback process
(WWW/EBI/FF).
Learning Dialogue – assessment of learning can be made by self, peers and teachers. Consider how this can be
structured within teacher planning.
Frequency – marking should be completed regularly at intervals that develop the learning of all in accordance
with department policy/guidance.
Selective – marking may be selective when assessing for a particular aspect of learning. Not all work needs to
be marked.
Marking Code – this must be applied when marking students work.
