Lincoln High students win<br />
award for creative maths<br />
TWO LINCOLN High<br />
School year 9 students won an<br />
Cantamath ‘outstanding’ award<br />
last Wednesday for their use of<br />
maths to create a dress.<br />
Alexandra Causer and Kate<br />
Hill were presented the award<br />
in front of a large crowd at<br />
Horncastle Arena during the<br />
Cantamath teams competition.<br />
The award is reserved for<br />
a piece of work that stands<br />
well above all others in its<br />
appearance, creativity and<br />
mathematical content.<br />

by placing rocks painted with positive messages around the<br />
community. It was part of a project that aimed to link the<br />
