CONVERSION PROJECT<br />
Carlotta Luke has been commissioned to chart the<br />
progress of an interesting architectural project:<br />
the conversion of an old grain store, on the<br />
South Downs Way near Kingston, into disabledaccess<br />
holiday accommodation. It’s a long-term<br />
project, and her pictures show seasonal as well<br />
as constructional changes, taken as they were<br />
(clockwise from top left): in February; during the<br />
‘Beast from the East’ cold snap in March; in May,<br />
and (final two) during our heatwave in July. You<br />
