held its fall formal week along with<br />

its second annual powder puff<br />

game. Since the school is new, this<br />

is its first year with a senior class.<br />

Next year, the school will hold its<br />

first homecoming.<br />

Dr. Phillips High School sophomore<br />

Brendan Valdes shot an<br />

8-under-par 64, earning an individual<br />

second-place finish at the Metro West<br />

Conference Championship held at<br />

Forest Lake. The men’s golf team finished<br />

with a score of 294 to place<br />

second at the championship. Valdes’<br />

round of 64 is a new school record<br />

in championship play. Freshman<br />

Shawn Lalmoni scored a 3-underpar<br />

69 and tied for fourth place,<br />

senior Joey Hodges finished with<br />

Maxx Moya, a junior at Olympia<br />

High School, dreams of playing<br />
