BRIEF DESCRIPTION<br />

Hemmon House is the maiden project<br />

of Forebase Property Sdn Bhd. Situated<br />

along Jalan Inai, Hemmon House sits on a<br />

0.25 acres of land at a former presidential<br />

bungalow site in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.<br />

Hemmon House’s context within Kuala<br />

Lumpur called for a radical yet elegant<br />

structural solution that is both architectural<br />

and performative. This resulted in a design<br />

that transplants parts of the city into the<br />

tower by grafting surrounding parks and<br />

community into the building.The design<br />

shaves off three corners of the tower and<br />

re-inserts a piece of city into each cut,<br />

disrupting regular structure and creating<br />

new civic spaces within its private typology.<br />

The high-rise is a low density<br />

development which consists of 90 dual-key<br />

ensuite units on top of 12 levels of parking<br />

and two levels of shops. The serviced<br />

apartment units are designed with-built<br />

up area between 820sq ft to 1,083 sq ft.<br />

Hemmon House is also designed with a<br />

retail podium, which will have a net leasable<br />

area of about 85,000 sq ft, and various<br />

facilities including two jacuzzis, a sky<br />

garden, a multipurpose hall, a gymnasium<br />

and electric car-charging stations.<br />
