Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando is partnering with<br />

Reed Nissan and Reed Nissan Clermont to stage<br />

the Reed Nissan Pet Rescue Project 90-Day Adopt-a-<br />

Thon. Reed Nissan is holding in-person, in-pet adoption<br />

events at the Orlando and Clermont locations,<br />

during which fees are waived for animals adopted<br />

at the dealerships and at both Pet Alliance shelter<br />

Jan. 26, 2019 — Faine House 5K<br />

Downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola Park hosts the<br />

Faine House 5K, a run/walk, plus a 1-mile stroll.<br />

Participants receive medals and T-shirts while supplies<br />

last, and prizes are awarded to the top male<br />

and female runners in each age group. A post-event<br />

party — that includes two drink tickets — takes place<br />

at Lake Eola Park’s International Plaza. Time: 8 a.m.<br />

Cost: $30 by Dec. 31, 2018; $35 after Dec. 31,<br />

2018; or $40 on race day, with proceeds benefiting<br />

The Faine House, a facility for young adults exiting<br />

foster care and those on the verge of homelessness.<br />

entertainment, rides, an ice slide, a Light Up<br />

Express kids train, and more. There is an “Under<br />

The Stars” Holiday Market on Dec. 15 and Dec.<br />

21, during which guests can see the crafts of local<br />

The Morse Museum<br />

The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American<br />

Art, 445 N. Park Ave., Winter Park, offers visitors<br />

free admission on six consecutive Friday evenings<br />

during the holidays. Visitors can enjoy not only<br />

free admission from 4-8 p.m. but live music from<br />

5-8 p.m. In addition, at 7 p.m. on Nov. 30, Dec.<br />

7 and Dec. 14, the Morse offers evening tours of<br />

the exhibition Louis Comfort Tiffany’s Laurelton Hall.<br />

Admission to the museum is also free Dec. 22 and<br />
