The Literature Unit took part in the<br />
National Schools Literature Festival<br />
(NSLF) held at Paya Lebar Methodist<br />
Girls School for the first time this year.<br />
This event held annually aims to motivate<br />
students to deeply enjoy and celebrate<br />
Literature. <strong>2018</strong> marks its 14th year running and<br />
saw 103 secondary schools participating in six<br />
main events. Our Secondary 1 to 3 students took<br />
part in three of the events – Book Parade, Book<br />
Trailer and Set Text Debate.<br />
From the literature texts that they have studied<br />
over the course of the year, our students had to<br />
create dioramas, act out significant scenes to<br />
create an interesting trailer and debate against<br />
another school on a given motion!<br />
Both our students and teachers were visually<br />
treated to a variety of literature works from all<br />
the participating schools. It was truly an eyeopening<br />
experience!<br />
