Thus, the total claim of the State for a grant to bridge the Resource Gap in fiscal 2014-15 is<br />
given in Table 1.3.<br />

Of this, Government of India has committed to a grant of Rs. 4,118.00 Crore, of which Rs.<br />
3,979.50 Crore has been released so far. The details of Resource Gap, the amounts disallowed,<br />
and the amounts not spent in 2014-15, but expenditure deferred on account of ways and means<br />
position is summarized in Table 1.4<br />
The items of expenditure disallowed, and the deferred expenditure on account of ways and<br />
means difficulties are discussed below in the following order<br />
