When Kasasa Cash qualifications are not met, the dividend rate earned on the account’s entire average daily balance will be 0.10% resulting in a non-compounding annual percentage yield of 0.10 APY% and ATM withdrawal fees are not refunded. Dividends will be credited to your Kasasa Cash account on the last day of the current statement cycle. Nationwide ATM withdrawal fee reimbursements will be credited to your account on the first processing day of the following statement cycle. APY = Annual Percentage Yield. The Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed program is here to help. Sponsored in part by West Newsmagazine, Summer Expo 2019 is from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10 at Marquette High, 2351 Clarkson Road. The event features 100 local and regional exhibitors offering programming for students in pre-K through high school. Admission is free. Participants do not need to attend school or reside in the Parkway or Rockwood school districts. Parents who attend the Expo and visit the Community Ed tables can get a coupon code for 15 percent off most Community Ed summer programs. The coupon code is good for two days only. The Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes is accepting applications online at barronprize.org through April 15. The Barron Prize celebrates inspiring, publicspirited young people from across the U.S. and Canada. Established in 2001 by author T.A. Barron, the Barron Prize annually honors 25 outstanding young leaders ages 8 to 18, who have made a significant positive difference to people and the environment. Fifteen top winners each receive $10,000 to support their service work or higher education. The March 1 deadline is approaching for young actors to register for the National Society of Arts and Letters [NSAL] 2019 Chapter Drama Competition. Actors between the ages of 18 and 27 are eligible to apply. Contestants must present two audition monologues – a comedic and serious piece – from memory before a panel of top-ranked professional judges on March 16 at Webster University in St. Louis. Air Force JROTC on top of their game Four drill teams representing the Missouri 81st Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps [AFJROTC] from Lafayette High traveled to Daytona Beach to showcase their skills at the Lake Worth High School Invitational Drill Meet. The teams consisted of the regulation drill team, the exhibition drill team and two color guard teams [exhibition and regulation]. This year, the teams came home with two third-place trophies and six firstplace trophies. Emily Gauvreau was awarded best overall commander. She oversees the regulation and 30-command teams. The other first-place awards included Regulation Color Guard, Inspection; Regulation Color Guard, Performance; Regulation Drill Team, Inspection; Exhibition, Performance; and 30-Command, Performance. The third-place awards were Regulation Drill Team, Performance and 30-Command, Inspection. Other commanders include Andrew Teague, who commands the exhibition team and Nick Gauvreau who commands the color guard. Senior Master Sgt. Dave Cugier is the instructor in charge of drill and Don Gauvreau coaches the color guard team.
