Ignacio Gimenez<br />
Ignacio Gimenez is a Skilled Business Leader with extensive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory<br />
Management, Warehousing and Logistics spanning domestic and international markets. He is Expert in leading<br />
procurement initiatives that achieve cost-targets and meet fill rates, whilst leading efficiency management programs<br />
at a regional and national level. He is recognised as a true business partner to Senior and Executive Management and<br />
Boards, offering realistic and scalable strategies to align supply chain and procurement with wider business objectives.<br />
His personal strengths include clear strategic vision, strong leadership, communication skills and empowering the<br />

Inaki as his close friends call him was born in Manila, married and with three children. He has Masters in Management<br />
at Asian Institute of Management in 1996, and Bachelor Degree in Marketing at De La Salle University in 1984.<br />
Prior to migration to Australia, he worked with Maynilad Services as Senior Assistant Vice President, at Fil-Estate<br />
Land and Golf as Sales Director and Luzon Moving and Storage Group as Operations Manager.<br />
Ignacio is currently working with Huntsman Corporation Australia as Head of Procurement. He also worked with<br />
Ecolab (Nalco Australia Pty Ltd ) as Procurement Mananger, at Arogen (Australia) Pty LKtd as Acting Executive<br />
Director, and at First Gen Corp as Assistant Vice President.<br />
He is a member of Australian Philippine Business Council.<br />
Santiago Saludo<br />
Santiago Saludo was born in Bato, Leyte, Philippines and finished his High School at Saint Joseph<br />
College in Olongapo City. He studied Radio Telephone Operator at FEATI University. His first job<br />
was at Aristocrat Safari Restaurant in Manila. He was a Personal Assistant to a Japanese Ambassador<br />
to the Philippines in Makati City when he was hired by the Chairman of the Board Mr. Horwitz<br />
Corporations. Later, he worked at Opera House Bennelong Restaurant in 1979 as a Storeman. He<br />
worked also in different hotels in Sydney, Melbourne and in Hayman Island Queensland.<br />
He was awarded as Employee of the Month by Sydney Intercontinental Hotel, Wentworth, Sheraton,<br />
and Regent Hotel. He was a Supervisor at the Cafe Americana in QVB. Also working at the Australia<br />
Post before joining Chatswood RSL as Bistro Supvervisor where he retired after working for 18 years<br />
of service.<br />
Sonny as his friends call him, is happily married to Tita Hallera Saludo. They have two children<br />
James Christopher Saludo working as an Accountant and Teresa Jane Saludo is still studying at<br />
Macquarie University and also working at David Jones.<br />
Sonny is a proud Silver Legacy Supporter of National Affiliation of Respectable and Responsible<br />
Associations (NARRA) Co-op Ltd.<br />
Segundo Vasquez Jr<br />
Segundo “Boyet” Vasquez started to hone his talent at the age of ten when he started to sing as a soloist of<br />
the children’s choir of his elementary school in Cagayan De Oro City, representing Region Ten X, National<br />
level at the Cultural Center of the Philippines - Manila 1981. 1987 and 1989. In High School he topped<br />
the Classical Guitar Competition National level of the National Music Competition for Young Artists<br />
(NAMCYA) nationwide representing Region X in CCP-Manila. Starting 2008 until now he works as a Solo<br />
Classical Guitarist of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ltd. Has performed with Brenda Cochrane – Scotland’s<br />
Great Talent – and with the authentic Buenos Aires Tango as the cruise headliner show production and<br />
has been featured on SBS Filipino-Australia as The Cruising Filipino Talent. He has been having concerts<br />
around Australia solo and with the Canberra Mandolin Orchestra and the Monaro Folk Society at Wee<br />
Jasper Cave and Jamberoo Uniting Church, Kiama – Shoalhaven, The performed at the High Court House<br />
on 22 April 2018 where tickets been sold out. He got a special Distinguished Artist-Musician award during<br />
the 15th Filipino Communities Council of Australia Inc. and Youth Summit, October 19 – 21, 2018 in<br />
Perth.<br />
His life’s adventure in music is the cover story of the The Fil.-Aus News, Current Events and Information<br />
Magazine in Australia - October Issues – in ACT this year. In early January he will be performing with the<br />
Italian Mandolin Virtuoso Carlo Aonzo in FAME at Mandolin Festival in the Italian Cultural Centre, ACT.<br />
Segundo is also a Composer and Sound Designer and does several music for Plays, Jingles and<br />
Documentaries in the Philippines.
