Rheanne Lamont-Funtanilla<br />

Rheanne Lamont-Funtanilla was born at Randwick, NSW from a Filipina mother and a Scottish father.<br />

Her mother, Desiree came from Narvacan, Ilocos Sur and Batangas while her father lives in Campbelltown<br />

and Palamalawa in the State of New South Wales. Rheanne is quite an achiever. She received the Cultural<br />

Citizen Award in 2016 when she was in Year 11 of her schooling. In Year 12, she received the Sister<br />

Kathleen Holahan Award for Music and the DUX Music Award at Mercy College in Chatswood, NSW.<br />

Rheanne has participated in several beauty and charity contests and has received several recognitions. She<br />

was named Best in National Costume at Mercy College Chatswood in 2010. In 2017, she was a Cat Walk<br />

Model at ‘The Port Darling Harbour funding for Polo de Marco’. She recently garnered the 1st Runner up<br />

award in the Miss FACAES Sydney, NSW in November 2018.<br />

Since 2011, Rheanne has enjoyed multicultural performances in Music & Arts under themes around Dr.<br />

Jose Rizal’s martyrdom and his brilliant writings . In 2017, she portrayed Huli in the musical play Cabesang<br />

Tales about the untold story of Hacienda Calamba . She also composed the songs and created the visual<br />

arts of the play that portrayed the ancestral history of the highlander Clan Lamont as well as the Japanese<br />

Animation “Anime”<br />

Rheanne is a University Student working for a double Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Sound International<br />

aimed at healing the world of harmony and peace for the homeless and less privileged.<br />

Catherine Gill<br />

Catherine is 15 years old and just completed Year 10 at Nepean Creative & Performing<br />

Arts High School.<br />

Catherine has been dancing since the age of 2 and a half, has performed and competed<br />

in a number of dance styles such as jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap, , hip hop, acrobatics and<br />

contortion. She has also been singing for most of her life and performed at many events.<br />

At 6 years old, she was given a personal congratulation by the then Mayor of Penrith Mr<br />

Cramery and MP David Bradbury when she sang in a Filipino celebration in St Marys<br />

NSW. During her schooling, she has performed as part of multiple dance and choir<br />

ensembles which have taken her to venues like the Sydney Opera House. Catherine<br />

also was fortunate in performing in the NSW State Schools Spectacular 2018. In school,<br />

Catherine has received awards for her academic excellence in History and Music and<br />

in her extra curriculars, has been awarded High Distinctions and Honours by the<br />

Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) for piano. Last October, Catherine was<br />

a candidate in the Miss BNP Australia charity pageant 2018 which she was fortunate<br />

enough to win 3 titles (Miss Photogenic, Best Dress and Miss BNP 2018).<br />

Jeszarene Guerrero<br />

Jeszarene “Jesz” was born in La Purisima Quipayo Calabanga Camarines Sur.<br />

She was 9 years old when her mom came to Australia. Since her mom left<br />

her in the Philippines, she learnt to be an independent child, taking care of<br />

her grandmother and has learned basic survival skills which include cooking.<br />

Cooking became Jesz passion and her dream is to be a successful nurse.<br />

Jesz arrived in Australia on the 10th of December 2017. She has two brothers and<br />

one sister. Her mother finished Midwife course and is working in the Nursing<br />

Home.<br />

Jesz is an above average student academically, goes to Jamison High School and<br />

always receives Teachers Awards. Jeszarene is an active church believer and on<br />

her spare time, she reads romantic books and listens to music.
