ou should never say no to a little bit of luxury.<br />
What this word means to you could be as simple as an<br />
interruption-free day spent poolside reading a book. Perhaps<br />
it’s a night at a five-star lodge, with views of the ocean and<br />
no cellphone reception. But what if you take it up a notch?<br />
Some people lead the most enviable existences. For this<br />
issue, where ‘luxe’ was the key word, we sought out those<br />
who lead lives that are a little more interesting than just being<br />
sat behind desks all day. Ella James spoke to bridal-designerto-the-stars,<br />
Trish Peng, who splits her time between<br />
Auckland and Los Angeles; a sports enthusiast with so<br />
much memorabilia he had to buy a pub to showcase it; and<br />
a family of biologists whose thirst for intrepid journeys and<br />
desire to share our world’s most special places led them<br />
to set up a business for like-minded adventurers (oh, the<br />
places they go!).<br />
