Leap year<br />
A year with 366 days <strong>and</strong> normally occurring every four years; i.e. 2008,<br />
2012, 2016, … are leap years (the extra day being February 29). [Note that<br />
century years must be divisible by 400 to be leap years, so that 2000 was a<br />
leap year but 2100 will not be a leap year; see p. 110.]<br />
Length<br />
The measure of a path or object in one<br />
dimension from end to end.<br />
