have a purrrfect solution to make sure you stay on<br />

Sign up to an organised challenge such as the<br />
MK Marathon, Colour Obstacle Rush or Epic Cycle<br />
Sportive and set up a Just Giving page to fundraise<br />
for local animals in need. Once your friends, family<br />
& colleagues have donated their hard-earned cash<br />
supporting you in your goal, you will have no choice<br />
but to proceed with your training! You can also visit<br />
the animals in our care and their adorable faces will<br />
give you strength to carry on.<br />

Love your Dog’s Heart<br />
Valentine's Day has been and gone, but you still...<br />
love your dog's heart.<br />
The Veterinary Centre is offering a screening programme.<br />
Certain breeds and ages of dogs are particularly at risk of<br />
developing heart disease – especially small breeds like<br />
Spaniels and large breeds over 25kg in weight. Recent<br />
research shows that by picking up heart problems in<br />
affected dogs before clinical symptoms develop (poor<br />
exercise tolerance, shortness of breath, cough, weight loss)<br />
the quality and the length of life for these pets will improve.<br />
Clinical trials have demonstrated a clear benefit with those<br />
being treated in the early stages. On average they will have<br />
15 months longer before clinical signs develop and also a<br />
longer lifespan overall.<br />
