5 th Global School Play Day <strong>2019</strong><br />
Sekolah Pelita Bangsa participated on<br />
the fifth Global School Play Day <strong>2019</strong><br />
on <strong>February</strong> 6 th . With this event we<br />
encouraged students to keep playing<br />
in their neighborhood and community.<br />
Students were given time to have<br />
unstructured play in the classroom<br />
during the day. Students were permitted<br />
and encouraged to bring anything they<br />
wish to play with to school.<br />
The only restrictions: they must bring<br />
non- violent toys and these toys may<br />
not require batteries or electricity.<br />
No devices (laptops, iPads, etc),<br />
no slimes, and no toys promoting<br />
violence (nerf guns, swords, knives, etc.)<br />
Our Primary students had a great time<br />
bonding, sharing their toys and playing<br />
together with their peers and the younger<br />
students of KG and nursery class<br />
We wished for them to practice social<br />
skills and problem solving as we<br />
celebrate Global School Play Day!<br />
