An unforgettable wedding at a location that is just as unforgettable — those attending might feel this defines the wedding that took place between Glorie Santos and Lennox Theodore at the home of James and Rosalina Rothrock in Windermere. The story of the circumstances that brought Glorie and Lennox together can only be eclipsed by the story of the location of their wedding — a house resembling Tara (Scarlett O’Hara’s house) in the film Gone with the Wind. The March wedding was one of several ways that Rosalina and her husband, James, give back to their community as their service to the Lord. “We use the house for whatever purpose where it can be of use to the community,” Rosalina said. “We dedicated this house to the Lord, because we are believers and see this house as a blessing from the Lord, and that we are really stewards of the house.” The Wedding of a Lifetime The idea to have Lennox and Glorie’s wedding at Rosalina’s house came about at the request of Glorie’s mom, Maricor, NOTEWORTHY who is a good friend of Rosalina and attends at least one of the two Bible studies Rosalina has at her home each month. “I didn’t know anything about the engagement until my friend, Maricor, approached me and asked if they could www.SouthwestOrlandoBulletin.com x May 2 — 15, 2019 x 37 NEWS A House of Many Purposes Windermere Couple Uses Their Home to Serve by Blair Parke use the house for Glorie’s wedding,” Rosalina said. “I said I would be honored to have her wedding. She had to re-learn everything once she came out of the coma and required transportation to a CrossFit gym to help her regain strength in one of her legs. When her driver had to leave for a lengthy mission trip, Lennox (who knew Glorie from Sunday school) offered to drive her three times a week to the gym, and their love bloomed during the regular car trips. Their wedding combined their heritages of Filipino (Glorie) and Trinidad (Lennox), though Rosalina states the food was definitely done in Filipino tradition. “For the wedding, people made and brought food.
