Odete DaSilva brought her artistic eye to her new salon<br />
and spa to pamper a savvy, upscale clientele. Marie Scarano<br />
Artistex, a Green Circle eco-conscious salon located in Westport Connecticut, underwent drastic<br />
expansion and remodelling to include luxurious spa services that attract high-profile clients in addition<br />
to the hair salon and barbershop. Owner Odete DaSilva explained, “I worked closely with my architect<br />
to create an open space that would not feel like a large, impersonal loft-like box, or like an assembly line.”<br />
