What’s not to Love?
An exceptional school in a magical setting
SAINT RONAN’S is an
exceptional school in an

In addition to the building
blocks of classroom learning,
the Pre Prep children explore
our farm and our 100 acres
of Forest School. They enjoy
completing 20 formal outdoor
challenges: Going on a walk
in the dark, creating wild art,
making a mud pie, holding
an animal, climbing a tree,
playing in the snow, going bird
watching, feeding the farm
animals, holding a chicken,
damming a stream, building
a see saw, hiding in a big
plant, cooking on a camp fire,
making a home for a wild
animal, taking shelter from
the rain, helping on the farm,
discovering what’s in a pond,
collecting eggs
from the hen house, sliding
down a mud slide, building a
den, pulling yourself up a hill.
Children become members
of the Prep School in Year
3, entering a House selected
for them by the “Choosing
Cup”. We pride ourselves on
our academic ambition and
co-curricular excellence,
our pastoral care and our
inclusivity. Our children have
achieved 164 scholarships
in the last five years in all
disciplines. Each week we run
over 50 extra-curricular clubs
and field over 20 sports teams.
We have 19 music ensembles,
including a 40 piece orchestra
and numerous performance
opportunities. 2019 sees us
breaking ground on a new DT,
art and computer technology
suite.
