Spring 2019 - Centerville Athletics Program

Elks Baseball Family,
Thank you for the support of Centerville Schools and the Elks Baseball Program. We look forward
to representing Centerville City Schools as we compete on the field and continue to build the
tradition of Centerville Elks Baseball.
Our guys have worked hard this off-season to put themselves in position to “Play Best Game Last.”
Our schedule will be one of the most challenging in the state of Ohio and arguably the Midwest.
We once again will face off with some of the top teams in Ohio (Moeller, St X, Mason, Defiance)
while also attending two Nationally known tournaments (IMG National Classic and PBR Midwest
Select). We also look for compete for the GWOC National Title with the likes of Beavercreek,
Fairmont, Springfield, and Wayne. We look forward to playing at a high level on a day to day basis
against such terrific programs.
After graduating 5 Seniors we have numerous areas to address going into the 2019 season.
However, we are fortunate to return 13 letter winners with several players that helped us win back
to back District Titles. The senior group has been a foundational class for our program and are
excited to see them compete one last time for us. The list includes #1 Kyle Moyer, #2 Sterling
Hill, #4 Connor Walch, #7 Shea Hendrixson, #8 Thomas Jenkins, #9 Nick Hoffmann, #10 Morgan
Colopy, #13 Jared Lieberman, and #18 Drew Smith. The junior class is led by returners #11 Joe
Requarth and #12 Ryan Stahl. We also have a strong group of sophomores and freshmen that
will compete to help the Varsity squad. Holding ourselves to a high standard on and off the field
while also upholding our cultural values of Family, Attitude, Skill, and Team will help determine
where this season will take us. We look forward to having you as a part of the journey.
