Ian is a member of two national societies and has been exhibiting at London’s Mall Galleries
since 1987. Subjects include woodlands, architecture, still life, seashore and Venice. Mediums:
watercolour, ink and acrylic. Greeting cards and browser works are available. The ‘grottogothic’
style cottage is a work of art in itself.
Level access onto the street, no steps other than ridge at bottom of door. Not wide enough
for wheel chair access.
5 miles west of Tavistock on A390, adjacent to Gunnislake railway station entrance. Free parking in station car park. On leaving
station on foot, follow main road uphill for just 20 yards. Studio opens onto the street.

Hilda attended the Slade college of art for life drawing and Goldsmith’s college for
art and teaching. She has been an accomplished ceramicist and artist for several
decades and ran an art and craft centre in Callington during the 80’s and 90’s. Hilda
enjoys painting landscapes of the Cornish countryside, life drawing, plus portraits
and pets in oil. All profits from sales are donated to The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Studio is on level ground with wheel chair access.
5 miles west of Tavistock, turn left off the A390 just before Gunnislake Station
(Well Park Road) Follow for a half mile down dip and uphill to open country.
Turn left down unclassified road, Wheal Arthur House is at the bottom below
Gresham House.

I graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, The Hague. I’m intrigued
by the atmosphere, solitude and stories that certain places radiate, aiming to
capture these in drawings, multi-colour lino prints and oil paintings. My studio
has breath-taking views over the valley and many artworks on display. Cards and

Disabled access not easy, 10 steps up to studio.
From Tavistock, turn left before Gunnislake station (Well Park Road). Continue for 0.8 mile. At top of hill turn left into hard gravel
lane. Gresham House on right after 200 metres. Easy parking.
