I am a pastel landscape artist. I walked Dartmoor for many years always trying to take
in the magic of the sculptural rocks, the stillness broken only by a skylark singing, the
moorland streams and rivers full of colour and movement plus deep old woods. Now
I’m constantly looking for ways of conveying changing light and colour with my lovely
pastels and hopefully… my Dartmoor!

Living on the edge of Dartmoor gives so much inspiration for painting.
The places, colours and patterns of my surroundings; the clouds, fields, moorland and stones. I particularly love the silhouetted
trees of the field boundaries in the winter and spring, skeletal structures bounding across the landscape. My work is best described
as graphic and colourist.
Disabled access not easy.
North of Tavistock and just north of Brentor follow signs to Liddaton. At the bottom of the steep hill turn right to Coryton and
after going over the iron railway bridge turn right down a dead end. Destination half a mile down on the right. Park in the drive.
