Our August Menifee meeting was great, Marcy Decato from Creative Solution Marketing was our speaker and she talked about the importance of Branding You and Your Business and gave us some great insight as what we need to do to make sure we create a memorable brand. She even touched on individuals should brand themselves. Everyone left really excited to Robbie Motter & Marcy Decato implement some of her ideas into her brand. Marcy is a great speaker so if you have a group or know of a group that needs a speaker contact her at Marxy@creativesolutionsmktg.com This month Menifee nafe wants to feature long time member Dorothy Wolons Dorothy Wolons with the Medal from the President of the United States for her dedication to service and volunteer work. Dorothy first joined nafe in 2016 and has been a great supporter ever since. She is an outstanding mother to two sons John and Jordan and a daughter Jurnie. Dorothy is a woman of many talents and is always the first one when help is needed to jump in and give of her time. She has done numerous volunteer projects over the years in Menifee, including dressing up and being the head ELF and teaching other elfs for the Annual Menifee Santa project. She is a member of the GFWC Menifee/Sun City Woman's Club and has held several board positions over the years with them, last year she was the Newsletter editor and did an outstanding job. Over the years she has been very involved in the pageant industry as her daughter Jurnie Hughes was in many pageants and Dorothy was right there to support her and other mothers who had daughters in the various pageants.. Dorothy has a great background in Marketing she studied Journalism and Marketing Communications at Wayne State University and took many other courses in business over the years in other locations. She has a great eye for business and also spends lots of time helping her fiancee Rafael Cano with his two automotive businesses in Menifee. AES Automotive and New Hub Auto Repair.
One of the exciting things she is doing now is being there for her soon to be new daughter in law Katie Holmquist who is marrying Dorothy's son John Hughes in October. Dorothy is very excited about the festivities that are being planned for the big day and already loves her soon to be daughter-in-law and Katie feels the same about her soon to be mother-in-law.. Over the years she has had very successful business careers in many industries where she was very successful. She and Rafael love to travel and you can find them on trips often to Mexico, San Antonio, Texas, Florida and other parts of the country. She is originally from Radford, Michigan and also lived in Germany, she lives in Menifee and recently moved into a home with a pool so her children and Rafael's children and grandchildren are really enjoying the pool.. Dorothy Wolons is truly is a great long time friend and a fantastic nafe sister to all, she is fun to be with and always is willing to share her great knowledge with others.
