The <strong>Kentucky</strong> <strong>Nurses</strong> Foundation (KNF), a 501©3 organization, is the philanthropic arm of the KNA and has<br />
a long history of supporting nursing scholarships, education and research.<br />
During our last fiscal year, donations to the <strong>Kentucky</strong> <strong>Nurses</strong> Foundation (KNF) totaled more than $12,000<br />
to benefit nursing education, scholarships and research. Thanks to all our faithful donors for making this<br />
happen via event support and “Honor a Nurse - Remember a Nurse” contributions.<br />
Along with funding nursing scholarships, <strong>Kentucky</strong> <strong>Nurses</strong> Foundation (KNF) funds support the Nightingale<br />
Tribute Program. This program includes a brief ceremony to honor any deceased Registered Nurse (RN) or<br />
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their years of commitment and dedication to nursing. Last fiscal year,<br />
we honored 36 nurses in this special way. We are stepping up our efforts to expand this program and have<br />
included a video of a Tribute on our website at kentucky-nurses.org. Contact the KNA if you would like to<br />
honor a nurse through the Nightingale Tribute Program.<br />

The KNA and KNF recently co-hosted the Second Annual “A Taste of Health” fundraiser which garnered more<br />
