What would you say is the
USP of Candor?
Our USP is academic
rigour combined with
all-round development of students. Candor
provides an environment that facilitates
discovery of unique talents of each student.
Can you give us a brief history of the
school.
Candor is a day-cum-boarding, co-ed
school launched in August 2011. I founded
the school with a vision to provide holistic
and affordable international education for
one and all. The curriculum includes the
Primary Years Program, and Diploma
Program of the International
Baccalaureate, and Cambridge Program of
the University of Cambridge, United
Kingdom. The academic session begins in
August and ends in June the following year.
The first certified ‘Green School’ in India,
Candor was recently recognized as Forbes
Great Indian School 2018-19 and Best
International Day / Residential School
2018-19 by the Times Of India. Candor
International School students go on to
study in prestigious Indian and foreign
universities.
What are the main things an educational
institution has to keep in mind for
developing young minds?
An educational institute has to take the
effort to understand each student and
customize offerings to suit their specific
needs. Both IB & IGCSE curriculum
beautifully enable Candor to devise an
academic program that is flexible to
develop the capability of our students.
What is the secret behind Candor's
outstanding IGCSE
results?
Time and again
Candor’s well-trained and experienced
faculty has been able to channelize the
energy of our brilliant students producing
excellent academic results. This year we
achieved 100% results in IGCSE with 13
distinctions, 12 merits, 40A*s, and 55 As. I
congratulate both our students and faculty
for delivering exceptional results and wish
them all the best for the future.
Are there any plans to expand to other
locations?
Yes, we do have plans to launch more
institutions in cities such as Tirupati,
Hyderabad, and Vishakapatnam. Our longterm
plan is to launch our school in other
cities and enable more students to benefit
from our unique educational program.

the Nandi Hills area which sees a
lot of grape cultivation. Likewise
golf lovers can tee off at the Golf
Club that also offers classes for
newbies. If you are looking for
a more invigorating adventure
an early morning cycle ride at
the ‘Dodda Alada Mara’ or the
Big Banyan Tree will take you
through some amazing natural
vistas too. And if you can do
experience Micro light flying a 20
minute aerial ride that gives you
a beautiful bird's eye view of the
entire city that happens at the
Jakkur Airfield.
