Each city has a few ‘must see’<br />

places and Kolkata is no<br />

different. The top attractions<br />

in Kolkata would surely be<br />

the Victoria Memorial, Kalighat and<br />

Dakshineswar temples, Indian Museum,<br />

Science City and Eden Gardens. But no<br />

guide book would ever tell you to go visit<br />

the Mullick Ghat and the Jagannath<br />

Ghat, home to the Mullick Ghat Flower<br />

Market.<br />

If you are looking for an adventure<br />

and experience in colour and chaos,<br />

then this stretch of land on the banks<br />

of River Hooghly is a must-see for you.<br />

If you want to see the other side of<br />

Kolkata and do not particularly mind a<br />

crowd, keep aside a morning for a walk<br />

by the river and you will not be<br />

disappointed. A haven for street<br />

photographers, you can also capture<br />

some gorgeous shots while you are at<br />

century-old Mullick Ghat Flower<br />

Market which comes alive at the crack<br />
