W alk for Hospice on Sept.
2 9 is personal, not business.
“After seeing my father receive
great hospice care, I soon realiz ed
that many other families in our
community could benefit from
this organiz ation’s work,” said
Delande Director David Delande.
The 101-year-old firm’s support
for the walk began 16 years
how hospice clinical teams care
for seriously ill patients and their
families in the patients’ homes.
F ollowing his father’s death
and, subseq uently, his mother’s,
Delande wanted to continue with
fellow family members support
and fund-raising for hospice care.
The company is just one of the
businesses sponsoring the Sept.
