Flavours of rafal<br />

LOCAL taste buds will be tickled<br />
as Rafal hosts its ninth Ruta<br />
de la Tapa this weekend, aimed<br />
to showcase the cuisine of the<br />
Vega Baja, as well as showing<br />
off its bars and restaurants to<br />
visitors.<br />

Pineda(pictured left) officially<br />
launched this year´s event, along<br />
with Rafal´s commerce councillor,<br />
Pedro Macia.<br />
The Ruta will start today (Friday)<br />
and run through to Sunday,<br />
with a local jury awarding prizes<br />
in various categories to the places<br />
that are taking part.<br />
Visitors will also be able to vote<br />
for which was their favourite of<br />
the dozen establishments on the<br />
Ruta.<br />
Into the groove<br />
STUNT BMX riders, breakdancers,<br />
and all kinds of<br />
music will be just of part<br />
of Almoradi´s annual Urban<br />
Festival that will be<br />
staged tomorrow (Saturday,<br />
September 14th).<br />
Béjar Park will once again<br />
host the event which will<br />

start at 5.00pm and finish<br />
well into the early hours of<br />
Sunday morning.<br />
Admission will be free of<br />
charge, with the wide variety<br />
of attractions including a<br />
Street Workout competition.
