Exercise is medicine Brenna Sincock Hearing
At Motus one of our primary goals is
to help New Zealand live active. “Motus”
even means movement! It is well proven
that exercise is important for many facets
of life, whether simply for basic health
benefits – cardiac, mental or physical,
or because you have suffered an injury.
Physiotherapy can assist in many ways
with keeping you moving.
If you have had a recent injury, we can
assist with providing the right treatment
and advice for getting you back on your
feet and on with normal life. If you are
getting older and have those niggly
annoying joints, we can work with you to
develop the tools required to get moving
and stay moving. At our Rolleston clinic
we run a circuit class on Tuesdays and
Thursday which is specifically designed
Wednesday 9 October
10am–3pm
Lincoln Event Centre
for our older population and is a safe
way to exercise in a gym environment
with physiotherapy supervision (Not to
mention it’s a great social outing as well).
Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis can
both be helped through the correct
exercise – It is common these days for
people to be referred for an exercise
programme to delay the requirement of
joint replacement surgery and in many
cases, it works!
Mental health and Wellbeing are hot
topics in New Zealand currently due to
our poor statistics in these fields. The
endorphins that are released through
exercise can help get us back on track.
We look forward to catching up with
everyone who attend the expo, come over
and talk to us about how we can help you.
your local audiology clinic
Brenna Sincock Hearing has
been operating in their purposebuilt
clinic in Rolleston Square
accessible, situated in the heart
of the community.
Being independent means
they can offer a more personal
audiology experience as patients
are able to have continuity of
care and the assurance they will
get the perfect device for them.
SWELL Expo, held at the
special she is offering a packet of Hearing
Aid batteries for $4. She will also have a
camera at the expo so you can look inside
your ears and check what is inside.
