1. You must keep this thing.
Its loss will affect your
brothers. For once yours is
lost, it will soon be lost by
others.
2. Three little letters. A paradox
to some. The worse that
it is, the better it becomes.
men's length. Ten men can't
break it, yet a young boy
Ingredients
Directions
Easy Country Cornbread Dressing
• 2/3 cup chopped onion
• 2 cups chopped celery
• 2 quarts of day old, grated corn bread
• 1 quart of day old, grated biscuits
• 1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
• 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
• 2 teaspoons ground sage
• 1 teaspoon coarse ground pepper
• 4 ounces margarine
• 1 quart plus 1 “14-ounce” can chicken broth
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix onion, celery, grated corn
bread and biscuits, parsley,
poultry seasoning, sage and
pepper in a large mixing bowl.
Add melted margarine to
mixture. Stir until well blended.
Add chicken broth to dry
ingredients and mix well. The
dressing should have a wet
but not soupy consistency,
like a quick bread batter
4. What's large on Saturday and
Sunday. Small on Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday, and
disappears on Monday and Friday?
5. People are hired to get rid of
me. I'm often hiding under your
bed. In time I'll always return.
Bite me and you're surely dead.
6. What do you fill with empty
hands?
7. Goes over all the hills and
hollows. Bites hard, but has no
teeth.
(banana bread/corn bread).
Divide mixture evenly into two
8-by-8-inch pans sprayed with
non-stick spray. Bake
uncovered for 1 hour at 400
degrees or until lightly brown
on the top.
I love dressing, (maybe more
than turkey) but don’t like it
with sausage, clams, eggs, etc
in it. Here is the recipe for the
dressing that I would have no
problem eating a whole pan of,
by myself.
If you toss a penny in the air,
it is actually more likely to
land on “tails,” since the
“head” image is heavier, the
“head” image tends to end up
on the bottom.
Sideburns got their name from
General Amrose Everett
Burnside, who was easily identified
by his mutton-chop whiskers.
This style was first known
as burnsides.
