Ocean Swim. The Narrabeen
Beach Ocean Swim Challenge is
on Sat Nov 30. Swimmers who
had registered for the original
event on Nov 2 (which was postponed
due to bad conditions) are
able to participate without any
extra cost. Other swimmers are
also welcome to register online
until 3pm on Friday 29, or at
the beach on the day between
8.30am – 9.30am. Briefing at

Newport Shopfest. Newport
comes alive on Sat Nov 30 from
8am with more than a dozen
fresh fruit and produce stalls, live
music and kids entertainment
plus your favourite local businesses
showcasing their wares
right on their doorsteps.
Young talent time. The third
annual Art Therapy Exhibition
hosted by One Eighty celebrating
local young talent and an
opportunity to support and raise
funds for a future free from youth
suicide will be held at Avalon
Surf Club on Thurs Dec 5 from
3pm-9pm. Tickets $10 online

entry under-14s.
Scout Xmas trees. Visit an
ATM to ‘be prepared’ (cash only!)
to support the 1st Mona Vale
