To find the finest caviar, you don’t have to travel far to Russia<br />

or Iran. Our aquaculture and caviar production facility in<br />

<strong>Prunier</strong> is located about an hour’s drive from the southwest<br />

French city of Bordeaux. Embedded in the lush landscape of<br />

the Dordogne and idyllically situated on the Isle, in<br />

Montpon-Ménestérol, a small town in the Department of<br />

Gironde in the Aquitaine region, is home to around 150,000<br />

sturgeon. They live in a wooded area outside the town in<br />

large open-air pools connected to the Isle River by an open<br />

water cycle.<br />

<strong>Prunier</strong> harvests five to six thousand kilograms of the finest<br />

caviar every year from ten to twelve thousand sturgeon in<br />

the French village of Montpon-Ménestérol near Bordeaux.<br />

However, since this noble small sturgeon farm was far from<br />

able to meet the worldwide demand for the “black gold”,<br />

<strong>Prunier</strong> merged with <strong>Caviar</strong> <strong>House</strong>, founded in 1950 by<br />

George P. Rebeiz in 2014, now the world’s largest caviar<br />

importer.<br />

Today <strong>Caviar</strong> <strong>House</strong> & <strong>Prunier</strong> offers you the world’s best<br />

selection of the finest caviar. Our roes come from the best<br />

sturgeon farms in the world, which exclusively use our<br />

methods to produce the finest caviar.<br />
