Darfield High School’s top students

DARFIELD HIGH School
acknowledged its brightest
students at its end-of-year
prize-giving last week.
Year 13 student Georgia Allison
was crowned dux with
Chantelle Rod named proxime
accessit and Michelle Bruce
third.
Georgia excelled in multiple
subjects and was recognised with
The Warehouse Prize for geography
– calculus and the Parent
Teacher Student Association
Prize for mathematics - statistics.
She was also awarded the
Darfield High School Equestrian
Trophy.
The head students for next
year were announced at the
ceremony.
Harry Williamson has been
named head boy with Rozlyn
Doherty as head girl.
Hayley Murray will be deputy
head girl alongside Cameron
Mills as deputy head boy.
Jessica Galletly will be the
head of culture, Jenny Walter the
head of sport and Ella Roessink
the head of well-being.
