CENTERVILLE ICE HOCKEY Centerville Hockey Again welcomes a new Head Coach and New Assistant Coaches. Coach Dylan Abood is no stranger to the Centerville Elks. Last year Dylan assisted on the bench and behind the scenes with the Elks where he built strong bonds and rapport with the team. This year he steps into the head coach position as Aaron Quick had to continue on in his Air Force career. Dylan comes with a rich hockey history, having played 22 years of competitive hockey, 3 years of Junior Hockey in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), and 4 years of Division 1 College Hockey at USAF Academy. Coach Abood’s Message to the team: It’s my first year coaching here at Centerville HIgh School but I am looking forward to watching the team grow not only in the sport of hockey but off the ice as individuals as well. My hope for the team is to create a fun, passionate, and competitive team-centric environment. My goal for each player is to develop their skills and character both on and off the ice through discipline, hard work, sacrifice, and teamwork. Assistant Coach Ryan Wagner is excited to be back in the world of High School Hockey. He is a Centerville resident with a growing family and love for the sport of hockey. He played hockey on travel and house leagues until he finally enjoyed his high school years on his high school’s Varsity Hockey team at North Olmsted. Assistant Volunteer Coach Paul Weisgarber is another U.S. Air Force Academy grad who not only lettered every year at the academy but also volunteer assistant coached with them.
