is the most famous
sculptor of Ticino. His
house and museum in
Ligornetto is a villa set
in beautiful grounds
full of flowers, lemons,
fountains and trees of
every kind.

The form of the future
An International Sculpture Centre able to attract artists from all over the world.
The facility, opened in May 2020, will mark the crowning moment of Almute and Alex’s dream.
The workshops will host five artists in residence in turn, while the pavilion provides a space
for international exhibitions (centroscultura.ch). Meanwhile, the Sculpture School continues to
offer a wide spectrum of courses ranging from marble sculpture to the design and creation of
bronze statues (scultura.ch).
Arzo Marble Quarries

open-air events.
