question cannot afford to take care of them.
The wealthier or less poor family is expected
to provide food, housing and sometimes an
education for the child in exchange for doing
domestic work. This is still being practised in
some African countries presently.
Cuisine
Another appealing factor is food on the island
of Haiti. Haitian cuisine is the renowned
food worldwide and its uniqueness in savour.
It is a mixture of French, African meal mostly
served with fried pork meat, fried goat meat,
salt flavoured malanga, salad, hot pepper.

Haiti, which is nicknamed in French as the
“Pearl of the Antilles” (La Perle des Antilles)

France, the beauty of the country’s nature
