3: Use effective and proven nutrition<br />

strategies. Try intermittent fasting!<br />

Intermittent fasting gives the body a<br />

break from digesting, allowing insulin to<br />

return to its baseline level so that it can<br />

begin to burn fat as fuel.<br />

4: Realize that true change is a<br />

process. It is impossible to drop 5lbs of<br />

fat overnight. Real change is a process<br />

where you focus on your goals and<br />

pursue progress over perfection. Show<br />

yourself some grace!<br />

5: Don‘t do it alone. Anything is<br />

easier when it is done with a good<br />

support group. We NEED connection,<br />

authenticity and accountability from<br />

like-minded individuals. Thankfully in<br />

today’s online world, it is possible to<br />

connect even when schedules don’t<br />

align. I lead online nutrition groups with<br />

local women, as well as women across<br />

the country!<br />

Loss coach, an elementary teacher, and<br />
