Fore Females<br />
On <strong>March</strong> 16 to 22, the LGPA Founders Cup will return to Phoenix to celebrate its 10th anniversary<br />
at the Wildfire Golf Club at JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. The tournament,<br />
which is the only LPGA event in Arizona, will feature a full field of top female golfers who will<br />
compete for a $1.5 million prize. This year, the event will debut a food truck fest, the Founders<br />
Museum with memorabilia from the oldest women’s sporting organization, which is celebrating<br />
its 70th anniversary in <strong>2020</strong>, and much more to celebrate the past decade. Attendees can expect<br />
to see local, national and international sensations such as world No. 1 defending champion Jin<br />
Young Ko, and major champion Valley residents Cristie Kerr and Anna Nordqvist, who is an<br />
eight-time LPGA winner. The tournament will kick off with the Official Pro-Am on <strong>March</strong> 18<br />
from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. There will be Tournament Play taking place <strong>March</strong> 19 to 22 from 7 a.m.<br />
