Dokter Kecil Workshop 2020
Buddy Writing
On Monday, February 24, some primary
students participated in Dokter Kecil
workshop at Cordela Hotel, Cirebon.
They learned lots of things about health,
which are very important for them to
live a healthy life. They were also taught
about healthy cafeteria, how to choose
healthy foods from the cafeteria, and
PHBS which stands for ‘Perilaku Hidup
Bersih dan Sehat’ and its 14 indicators.
Students also learned about UKS which
stands for ‘Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah’
which in SPB is known as sick bay; and
the things that should be in a sick bay like
first aid kit that can be used for treating
injuries right after an incident so
the injured areas will be prevented from
further severity.
They participated in the event very well
and they are expected to use their new
knowledge in their everyday life and share
it with their friends.

Little Buddy discuss with big buddy
SPB encourages students from different
grade levels to collaborate in many
different ways. This time, all primary and
Secondary 1 Protoceratops students had
a Buddy Writing activity.
It is one of the activities set in preparation
for Literacy Week Celebration which
involves big and little buddies to work
together.
It’s a very engaging activity that aims
to promote student’s interaction and
collaboration at the same time help
students to improve their writing skills.
The big buddy’s role is to help the little
buddy on how to write a response
to the assigned worksheet, to check
the spelling, grammar and the use of
punctuations. Proud to be SPBians!
