BOGE LAUNCHES NEXT GENERATION
SCREW COMPRESSOR
BOGE, one of the leading manufacturers of
compressed air systems, launches its next
generation C-2 screw compressor. The C-2
boasts a wide output range from 11 to 22 kW,
which means it offers the ideal solution for
every conceivable requirement. The machine
comes in both belt and direct drive options with
optional frequency controllers, air receivers and
dryers.
This highly affordable version is
maintenance-friendly thanks to easily accessible
components and while the C-2 compressors are
fitted as standard with a high-performance IE3
motor, efficiency can be increased to an even
higher standard as required with an optional
IE4 motor. With the addition of a newly
designed sound insulation hood that is built in
as standard, all compressors are even quieter
than before.
Other options are available on all models in
the range include integrated heat duotherm
heat recovery and frequency-controlled drive
motors and motor fans: meaning the cooling
Robots have already been used for some time as
efficient and flexible bending machines to
process tubes. These systems are constantly
developed further and improved. For the
experienced engineers at transfluid this means
first of all to make the software user-friendly, so
it is possible to work in an efficient and
professional way. These bending systems from
the high-tech engineering company can take
isometrics data and generate bending data
without separate programming of the robot
system.
transfluid has now designed the next step in
the development of its range of tube bending
robots and improved it again. The online
connection to CAD systems has always been
possible, which reduces the set-up time a lot.
Another important aspect is to simplify the
software connection because of the robot
programming capabilities of each customer.
The latest generation of machines can
process isometrics data online. There are also
positions stored in the control system, for where
the piece is picked up and dropped off. In
addition to this, it is also possible to retrieve the
position for the necessary supports for long
capacity can be adapted optimally to the
environmental conditions thus further
improving efficiency. Integrated dryers as an
option are also available across the entire range
and a control system ideally adapted to
customer requirements is also available. Users
have the choice between the standard base
control or the high-end focus control 2.0
version.
Regardless of which extras are required, it
works the same for all users: with the machines
from the new C-2 series, you obtain a complete
compressed air station as a plug-and-play
solution in the smallest space, whether without
or – for the first time ever in this series with a
performance up to 22 kW – also with a receiver.
BOGE has ergonomically optimised both
installation versions and designed them to be
particularly user-friendly: the control panel has
been built directly into the front plate or angled,
depending on the version. Control cabinet, belts
and all other maintenance parts are accessible
thanks to panel’s that are easy to remove.
“This next generation C-2 screw compressor
is really impressive, and this will be incredibly
exciting for our customers who have used and
rated the C-1 best in class over the years,”
explains Russell Frost, UK & Ireland Sales
Manager at BOGE Compressors.
He adds: “This is the Champions League;
the super-silencer is integrated, it’s more
efficient, more compact and will need less
maintenance. All in all, it’s a fantastic player for
air compressors in the 11-22 kW range.”

ROBOTS AS EFFICIENT TUBE
BENDING MACHINES
tubes. Because of this, a complete new complex
bending geometry can be programmed and
bent quickly, in max. 30 minutes. This including
the set-up of the bending tools.
transfluid is a valued partner all over the
world for the production of tube bending and
tube processing machines. transfluid have been
developing their customer-focused
technologies for tube processing since 1988 and
offers tailor-made solutions for the construction

CUT 2000 X WIRE
EDM FEATURES
NEW SPARK
TRACK
TECHNOLOGY
GF Machining Solutions has upgraded the
AgieCharmilles CUT 2000 X wire EDM with
new Spark Track technology and an Integrated
Vision Unit (IVU), offering accuracy and
productivity for even the most demanding
applications.
The CUT 2000 X’s Vision 5 software
interface allows manufacturers to optimise
production, achieve flexible job management
and improve quality and productivity.
GF Machining Solutions’ Vision 5 interface
simplifies last-minute machining sequence
modifications and allows for special actions to
be introduced directly inside the job to ramp up
quality and productivity.
Open guides on GF Machining Solutions’
automatic wire changer (AWC) allow
manufacturers to use a combination of different
wire diameters between roughing and
finishing, thereby reducing machining time for
small and complex geometries – resulting in up
to 32% greater productivity.
Additionally, two 25 kg wire spools are
available that eliminate the need to modify the
wire circuit when switching wires, which
increases flexibility.
GF Machining Solutions’ new Spark Track
technology represents a breakthrough in wire
EDM.
With its state-of-the-art Intelligent Spark
Protection System (ISPS) which provides
valuable information about spark distribution
on the wire, Spark Track technology allows
users to completely avoid wire breakage
regardless of the machining conditions as well
as reduce part defects and simplify machine
operation.
Wire oscillation, varied heights and tapered
surfaces are among the common problems
resolved by Spark Track technology. To achieve
superior results, discharge distribution along
the wire must be as uniform as possible. Spark
Track and ISPS offer users a fully-automatic
solution that improves efficiency and reduces
wire breakage.
