NEW AGENT APPOINTED FOR
LEADWELL CNC MACHINES IN THE
UK AND IRELAND
A new sole agent for the UK and Irish
markets has been appointed by Taiwanese
machine tool manufacturer, Leadwell CNC
Machines, Taichung. Newly formed WH-
Lead Ltd, is a sister company of Whitehouse
Machine Tools, a long established agency for
well-known ranges of machining centres and
CNC lathes manufactured in Japan,
Germany, Italy and also Taiwan.
With immediate effect, WH-Lead takes
over sales and service of Leadwell’s growing
range of turning centres and vertical-spindle
machining centres. Seamless continuity of
supply in Britain and Ireland is assured, as
Mike Heapy and Brendan Parrott from the
previous agent, Lead Precision Machine
Tools, have joined the new organisation.
They bring with them 30 years' experience of
the Taiwanese manufacturer and its products
and additionally will be able to draw on the
resources and expertise of Whitehouse
Machine Tools in Kenilworth.

DIVISION WITH
KEY HIRE
Hoffmann Group UK, Europe’s leading
system partner for quality tools,
workstations and personal protective
equipment (PPE), has bolstered its PPE
product division with a new appointment.
Hayley Johnson joins the UK team as a
PPE Specialist. In the newly-created role, she
will be responsible for the development and
growth of Hoffmann Group UK’s PPE range
to establish the company as the go-to
provider in the UK. She will also oversee the
training and development of the PPE sales
team and provide marketing support to
promote the range.
Hayley boasts 25 years of sales experience
across the manufacturing and engineering
industry, having previously worked for
major UK PPE suppliers such as Bunzl Plc,
SBA Ltd and Arco Ltd.
The appointment comes at a pivotal time
for Hoffmann Group, after launching in the
UK in August 2019. With the business having
also recently expanded its PPE product
catalogue, Hayley’s expertise will enable the
business to further grow its PPE sales,
establish relationships with new UK product
suppliers and better service both new and
existing clients.
Hayley said: “The business already has an
extensive and well-respected client base, and
I’m looking forward to working with the
team to help grow PPE sales and establish
Hoffmann Group UK as the one-stop
supplier of choice for companies’ protective
equipment needs.”

XYZ MACHINE TOOLS STRENGTHENS
SALES SUPPORT IN POLAND
Following the recent announcement of Marcin
Drozd as its first area Sales Manager in
Poland, XYZ Machine Tools has followed that
up with a second appointment, bring in
machine tool specialist Marcin Binkowski,
who will be responsible for direct sales in the
south and east of Poland.
With over 10 years’ experience in the
machine tool industry Marcin Binkowski’s
appointment complements the work that
Marcin Drozd has been involved with across
the country and will enhance the sales support
in a market seen has one with great potential
for XYZ Machine Tools’ product range,
particularly the ProtoTRAK controlled mills
and lathes.
“Poland will play a significant part in our
growth across mainland Europe,” says
Howard Bamforth, Export Sales Director, XYZ
Machine Tools. “To capitalise on the strong
potential of the market in Poland we see direct
sales as the route to take. By having XYZ
employees on the ground we are better placed
to highlight the unique benefits that the
ProtoTRAK control system can deliver to
customers. The success of this initiative
started last year with Marcin Drozd has
confirmed this.”
As part of the marketing strategy in Poland
XYZ has recently attended the Innoform
Exhibition and, will be present at the
upcoming three-day STOM-TOOL exhibition
for metalworking and metal machining in
Kielce on the 22-24 September, along with the
Toolex 2020 exhibition from the 29th
September to 1st October in Sosnowiec. “We
are making substantial investment in the
Polish market and this additional sales
resource will be backed technical support and
service personnel to replicate the customer
experience that we provide in the UK.”
