SAHIH BUKHARI VOLUME 9 > BOOK 86: TRICKS<br />

Volume 9, Book 86, Number 91:<br />

Narrated Muhammad bin 'Ali:<br />

'Ali was told that Ibn 'Abbas did not see any harm in the Mut'a marriage. 'Ali said, "Allah's Apostle<br />

forbade the Mut'a marriage on the Day of the battle of Khaibar and he forbade the eating of donkey's<br />

meat." Some people said, "If one, by a tricky way, marries temporarily, his marriage is illegal." Others<br />

said, "The marriage is valid but its condition is illegal."<br />

Volume 9, Book 86, Number 92:<br />

Narrated Abu Huraira:<br />

Allah's Apostle said, "One should not prevent others from watering their animals with the surplus<br />

of his water in order to prevent them from benefiting by the surplus of grass."<br />

Volume 9, Book 86, Number 93:<br />

Narrated Ibn 'Umar:<br />

Allah's Apostle forbade the practice of An-Najsh.<br />

Volume 9, Book 86, Number 94:<br />

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:<br />

A man mentioned to the Prophet that he had always been cheated in bargains. The Prophet said,<br />

"Whenever you do bargain, say, 'No cheating.'"<br />

Volume 9, Book 86, Number 95:<br />

Narrated 'Urwa:<br />

That he asked 'Aisha regarding the Verse: 'If you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with<br />

the orphan girls, marry (other) women of your choice.' (4.3) 'Aisha said, "It is about an orphan girl<br />

under the custody of her guardian who being attracted by her wealth and beauty wants to marry her<br />

with Mahr less than other women of her status. So such guardians were forbidden to marry them<br />

unless they treat them justly by giving them their full Mahr. Then the people sought the verdict of<br />

Allah's Apostle for such cases, whereupon Allah revealed: 'They ask your instruction concerning wo-<br />

men..' (4.127) (The sub-narrator then mentioned the Hadith.)<br />
