Topping this ranking is the stallion Harlequin Du

Carel, a Selle Francais, with 191 BE Points. His

leading earner is SPORTSFIELD TOP NOTCH, owned

by the March Stud and competed by Piggy March.

His top performance in 2019 was winning the British

Eventing Young Horse Championship for 7 year olds.

The TB stallion Nazar is in second place. Although 3

horses are registered on the BE DB only BROOKFIELD

BENJAMIN BOUNCE has earned BE points for him.

Ridden by Tom McEwen and owned by John and

Chloe Perry and Alison Swinburn, this combination

came 3rd at the World Championships for Young

Horses at Le Lion.

German bred Clarimo has 8 horses registered of

which 5 have earned him BE points. His top earner

was COCK A DOODLE DO, owned and competed

by Willa Newton with a great season’s finish with

a 4th place at the British Eventing Young Horse

Championships followed by completing the World

Championships at Le Lion in 14th.

Note:

All BE registered horses can be searched for on the

BE website using the ‘explore BE’ function at the

top of the BE home page. Simply click on the button

and enter the horse’s name.

Where a horse’s pedigree is connected to his BE

registered Sire and Dam (who evented themselves)

the pedigree tab will show and be linked to

parentage. (example: Pencos Crown Jewel)

This British Bred ranking is based on country of

origin of horses as shown in the horse’s passport,

which is included during their BE initial registration.

BE makes every effort to double check all

information but cannot be held liable for any

inaccuracies.
