It was an interesting experience. With great passion and uniqueness, each had their own testimonies which they shared with the Orang Aslis in Cameron Highlands. Together with another group from KL, this team ministered to at least 30 adults and approximately 70 children in both Trisu 4 and Bertam village. †
Prior to the trip, the Ipoh team even raised their own fund by selling handmade crafts “I will never forget when a little child grabbed my hand and hugged me. My eyes were opened to see how God loves this people. My heart was touched that I wanted to go for mission trips even more.” Annie Ong Trisu 4 Bertam Though not able to hear, they enjoyed themselves by clapping and dancing with the locals Teaching the children song in sign language “I was struggling with my Bahasa in the interpretation even though it was prepared before hand. On the second day, Adris came and helped to interpret. I thank God for this as Annie‟s testimony was well interpreted. Through this I experienced the faithfulness of God.” Lam Lai Peng “When I was young, I stole money until I found a job and got married. I spent a lot and always quarreled with my husband. After I have found Christ through my friend, I started to realize the changes in me. Praise the Lord!” Jenny Ho “One day, I wasn‟t feeling well, the doctor couldn‟t understand me and I became frustrated. Then, the doctor found that I had tumor in my womb. I was worried but I continued to pray. After medication, I was healed! Really thank God!” Cheung Ching Tai “Their lives are a testimony of God‟s goodness. Going with CGBC Ipoh team reminded me that God often speaks to us in His silence rather than words (Psalms 19:1-6).
