What had been planned was totally altered due to the unexpected circumstances. As Proverbs 19:21 says, “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails” (NIV). “All these years, I’ve been to many trips, but this was the best Cameron trip so far!” said Bro Steven Toh, leader of the team comprising 15 people. † 4 Volume 2 · Issue 31 · May - December 2010 To the surprise of all, Salim came to the Trisu 4 church for the evening service. His son came along too. Not known to the team, one of the houses in which they ministered to, and accepted the Lord, is Salim’s parents! When the team visited Salim’s house, he looked gloomy and weak. All this while he stayed at home and was jobless because of the pain he suffered due to kidney stones. After saying ‘yes’ to receive Jesus Christ, the team prayed for him. Then, his countenance changed! Salim started to speak in tongues and raised his hands up in the midst of prayer. “We thank God for making it possible for us to work together in this trip. We drove almost 5 hours from Kuching to Sibu. This is an exposure trip for three of us since we are new at interdenominational platform. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.” (2 Tim 2:2 NLT) It was a fruitful trip for Ps Melai as he ministered to the Men in Sintang and the youths in Kuching. † 7 th –9 th June ICM Sarawak Regional Office Meeting, Kuching � Approximately 20 people attended. 10 th –13 th June Men’s Camp at Sintang, Kalimantan � It’s a camp prior to BSIB classes to be started in the future. 15 th –16 th June Youth Camp at Good News Fellowship, Kuching � Many accepted Christ for the first time, some rededicating their lives, repenting from sins. We rejoiced in the launching of New Generation Church Sibu and the graduation of 24 BSIB students. Touched by the Lord to preach the Gospel to secondary school and UniTar college students, Ps Delly went and trained the students using ICM BSIB programme.
