Hallie Eickhoff is a senior communication studies and public relations major

with a minor in creative writing. After graduation she’s hoping to find a

job she’s passionate about, but will settle for being allowed to see her friends

again.

Kaleb Fillenworth is a senior communications major. When he is not taking

pictures of his cat Julius, Kaleb likes to explore new areas in and around the

Cedar Rapids area.

Hannah Hass is a first-year at Coe. As an English and writing double major

with aspirations to work in publishing, the decision to join The Pearl staff was

a no-brainer for her. In addition to being a part of The Pearl, she somehow

found time to be on staff at two other Coe College publications: Colere and

Coe Review. She is also the incumbent co-president of KCOE, and a frequent

participant in theatre on campus. How does she do it all? She herself does

not have those answers, but caffeine certainly helps.

Emma Hodges studies art, creative writing, and education as a second-year

at Coe College. Lately, they take comfort in quilting, poetry, and birdwatching

as ways to explore What All of This Means. They enjoy kombucha, their favorite

color is purple, and their favorite time of year is summer. Emma lives

in Saint Louis with their parents, sisters, and dog.

Brenna Kerwin is a senior music and French major who enjoys writing, singing,

and cryptozoology. This is her second time having her work published.

Taylor Knight is a senior film/creative writing/English major from the south

suburbs of Chicago. She emphatically enjoys Norman Lear, satire, and constructing

long sentences one comma at a time.

Reyes Lucero is a junior physics and computer science major. He has always

had a passion for photography, particularly wildlife and natural scenes.
