Hallie Eickhoff is a senior communication studies and public relations major
with a minor in creative writing. After graduation she’s hoping to find a
job she’s passionate about, but will settle for being allowed to see her friends
again.
Kaleb Fillenworth is a senior communications major. When he is not taking
pictures of his cat Julius, Kaleb likes to explore new areas in and around the
Cedar Rapids area.
Hannah Hass is a first-year at Coe. As an English and writing double major
with aspirations to work in publishing, the decision to join The Pearl staff was
a no-brainer for her. In addition to being a part of The Pearl, she somehow
found time to be on staff at two other Coe College publications: Colere and
Coe Review. She is also the incumbent co-president of KCOE, and a frequent
participant in theatre on campus. How does she do it all? She herself does
not have those answers, but caffeine certainly helps.
Emma Hodges studies art, creative writing, and education as a second-year
at Coe College. Lately, they take comfort in quilting, poetry, and birdwatching
as ways to explore What All of This Means. They enjoy kombucha, their favorite
color is purple, and their favorite time of year is summer. Emma lives
in Saint Louis with their parents, sisters, and dog.
Brenna Kerwin is a senior music and French major who enjoys writing, singing,
and cryptozoology. This is her second time having her work published.
Taylor Knight is a senior film/creative writing/English major from the south
suburbs of Chicago. She emphatically enjoys Norman Lear, satire, and constructing
long sentences one comma at a time.
Reyes Lucero is a junior physics and computer science major. He has always
had a passion for photography, particularly wildlife and natural scenes.
