Laura McAdam is a senior double majoring in German and English with a

minor in secondary education. She loves to travel, spends way too much

money on books, and is a crazy cat mom. In case you were wondering: a

monkey’s fingers feel like a cat’s toe beans. You’re welcome.

Gable Meade is a sophomore creative writing and English major at Coe

College. An avid writer, he enjoys writing fiction, plays, and is currently in

the process of writing his first novel. Despite his visual disability, he loves

creating vibrant worlds with words.

Kristjan Nixon is a senior who enjoys poetry, cooking, and walks with

friends at night. Once, he found a dead fish.

Caleb Rigdon is a junior social and criminal justice major at Coe College. He

writes every now and then, but wastes most of his time on other things even

though he always tells himself he’s going to write more often.

Ally Roeker is a sophomore studying English, communication studies, and

writing at Coe College. She reads too much and writes not nearly enough, and

if you see her, she is probably listening to music.

Not too much is known about Dominic Slouka. He can sometimes be seen

around Cedar Rapids carrying a camera, but will soon thereafter disappear in

the blink of an eye. If you find this man please contact the local authorities.

Thank you.

Paige Waskow is a sophomore political science and environmental studies

major. If possible, she spends her time outside looking for bees, walking her

dog, or playing ultimate frisbee. She’s also a big fan of coffee, deep conversations

about most anything, and writing late at night.

Spencer Willits is a senior writing & environmental studies major. He writes

poetry, fiction, and essays, is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and likes

trees more than most people.
